The Hemo SCAN system is used for quantitative measurement of hemoglobin in whole blood. Please familiarize yourself with the following instruction and guidelines.

 

• Type of blood samples

-Please use fresh capillary or venous blood to measure accurately. Please note that venous blood samples should only be taken by a healthcare professional. Suitable anticoagulants are EDTA or Heparin.

 

• Please use only Hemo SCAN test strips in the Hemo SCAN meter.

 

• Please check the operating condition and expiration date of your test strips before using them with the device.
